DAILY HIME GYARU MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Hime gyaru style is a big craze in Japan right now. I myself is going crazy over that look. Hime girls are so cute to look at! Their pretty clothes and stuffs; all things pink with lace and bows and sparkly tiaras to finish off with their princess look. But then again, not everyone can pull off a Hime Gyaru look. An exemption would be if you are in Japan, but if you aren't.. I think that's a bit too attention seeking to others. Other people might think you're wearing costumes to attend a grand ball, or they just think you're big enough to be playing dress-up.

So I got inspired with the look and I came up with a makeup tutorial that can be worn during the day, even without occassions. The answer to that was to lose the false eyelashes and stick to your natural ones, and you can still achieve a doll-like hime gyaru effect.

NOTE: I haven't have the time to edit my pictures in photoshop because there are so many of them, I'd rather not PS them anyway. So excuse the imperfections, I am not a doll nor a perfect being. I'm still a person and I get breakouts 'coz I'm still young and also because of hormonal imbalance. Without further adieu, let's start!

1ST STEP: WASH YOUR FACE of course with a facial wash and dry it off with a clean towel.

2ND STEP: APPLY FOUNDATION

I used Maxfactor lasting performance liquid foundation in soft beige

3RD STEP: CONCEAL YOUR EYEBAGS AND DARK CIRCLES

4TH STEP: APPLY LOOSE POWDER for a MATTE look

I used maxfactor translucent

5TH STEP: APPLY WHITE EYESHADOW TO BROWLINE
for the eyeshadows I used PRO ART makeup set

6TH STEP: CHOOSE A MEDIUM SHADE OF BROWN AND APPLY IT TO YOUR EYELID CREASE AND BLEND IT WELL

this will give slight depth to your eyes

7TH STEP: APPLY LIGHTER SHADE OF BROWN EYESHADOW ON UPPER EYELID

8TH STEP: CHOOSE THE DARKEST SHADE OF BROWN AND APPLY IT ON THE OUTER CORNER OF THE EYES

it's as if you were forming a ball shape

it has to look like this

9TH STEP: APPLY BLACK EYELINER ON UPPER LASHLINE

I used in2it brow palette because I left my liquid eyeliner somewhere.
Wet the tip of the brush before you rub it at the palette. As much as possible use liquid eyeliner instead. The black shade is darker with it.

10TH STEP: APPLY BLACK EYELINER ON HALFWAY OF THE LOWER EYELID

add a little wing to the eyes.
Which means extend the line of the eyeliner on your upper eyelid

11TH STEP: APPLY MASCARA ON UPPER AND LOWER LASHLINE

I used two mascaras: Maxfactor masterpiece max and Falselash effect

12TH STEP: APPLY BLUSH

AND FINALLY TO FINISH OFF WITH THE LOOK: APPLY LIP TINT AND GLOSS

I used bodyshop's lip and cheek tint and Victoria's secret beaauty rush lip gloss

  2. Hey sorry for the late reply. Haven't been here for ages. Anyway, the blush I used for this look was Maxfactor's flawless perfection in Classic Pink :)
